10 Point Deduction

My assumption is that a significant proportion of the debt is with Gary Lever and a number of the previous director's so I would imagine that if the debt with HMRC can be resolved in whatever way we should be in with a chance.

I was surprised you could even try to negotiate a CVA to pay off a CVA. However, fingers (and other things) crossed.

because some genius(es) thought it would be a great idea to build a load of commercial crap at the same time as upgrading the stadium...

if they had solely concentrated on upgrading the stadium initially to football league standard, we would have stayed in the Conference, if not gained promotion. they could have built the hotel, medical centre etc afterwards as it wasnt necesary or essential to the club at that time...

but that was too sensible and obvious. it was all about the money, as far as KP was concerned, and all of those fancy things would have bought him and the club more money. its ironic therefore that because of those plans weve gone on to lose thousands of pounds...

The idea-was -and as far as i know-still is-to provide passive income from the commercial activities to assist funding the the footballing side (aswell as giving the developer a return ) so that the footballing side had additional income to help it climb through the leagues.

If we can survive the 26th -and then keep in ryman premier-no reason why this can't still be the case

I think you need at least 1,000 seats in the stadium to be in the conference.

I don't blame the board at all for wanting to re-build the whole stadium because in the long run that is the best thing to do i feel and the stadium at the time i feel did not meet the club ambitions, which were realistic ambitions at the time. However the board got ahead of themselves and took what was once a great football club with an even better future to a club that is going lower then thought possible 7 years ago. And dare i say it i fear the worst is yet to come.

Are we not trawling over old ground here. We know we could have stayed in the Conference with very little development, we know it cost thousands to ground share, we know the the ground was needlessly demolished for nothing, we know a number of different people have been responsible for that, but this was five years ago now. We need to see what is said on Wednesday, and I know its difficult, but try and concentrate on the future, because thats the only thing that we can change.

Whether he resigns is frankly irrelevent, as the Piper family have controlling interest, therefore appoint who they like to the board.

The point is simply that a controlling shareholding is required, meaning that the Piper family must relinquish control of the company by selling a large chunk / all of their shares. Only then will anyone who has that kind of money part with the reddies to pay all / some of the debts off.

And with a controlling interest, you then get to appoint the board....

With footballing motives, the price required to purchase the shares I suspect would be equivilent to the amount loaned by those shareholders to the company over the years, possibly with interest. And proof that the funds are in place to keep the club a going concern.

Or if the motives aren't football related and they think 'Bu66er it, I'm sick of taking all this sh1t', then the price required to take a control is set by the interest those shareholders have in the company that owns the land and the opportunities brought about by it, should there be no viable tenant.
