Quite right SL. You dont get to the 3rd round of a national competition unless you deserve it and how many rounds have you guys had to get through to get that far. I hope that FG are able to use the money on something other than repairing damage caused by local vandals this time. As for the comment re stars I know they have been playing but have they actually turned up !! SL knows what I mean smile

Its unfortunate to have to say, but one or two at Binfield are sore losers. The director of football, chairman and secretary all said well done to me in a polite and friendly way, but there was one bloke, who I chatted to quite a bit when I played for Binfield, said 'well done, you were sh1t'. I just laughed and said that it was good to see that he could lose well!

Binfield will be dissapointed, I would be if I had p1ssed over a team and not won, but you have to take defeat graciously.

For the record, I dont want to work next week, but thats the way it goes. I'm just happy that I got my first clean sheet for some time, Frimley are in the next round.

Belated match report - Apologies.

Dorking made it 4 wins on the spin and 3 league wins on the bounce as they eased past Sheerwater in a rearranged league game following the abandonment of the first game between the two sides a fortnight ago following torrential rain.

That game had been rightly abandoned by the referee just before half time with Chicks two goals to the good and coasting, so the fear was that Sheerwater would take advantage of their good luck in having the game terminated before half time, and put up a stiffer test this time round, the rematch having been arranged following Dorking
