Lost 2-1 after extra time

We could have been 3-0 down at half time after a truly awful 1st half performance. Arundel went 1 up after 65 mins then we equalised after 75 then looked the better side and probably should have gone on to win but keeper pulls of a worldy save 5 mins to go from 10 yards out. Extra time then their keeper pulls of another worldy saving a 30 yard shot going straight in to top corner but they score in 100th min to win game.

Thought Arundel were a very strong side and one of the best that i've seen this season at Step 5 and overall deserved to win the game. Nice bunch as well.

Camberley were awful. Scored first but Peacehaven equalised before half time. 2nd half Camberley went ahead but always looked rocky at the back and Peacehaven equalised in the 95th minute after a truly awful error from the Camberley Keeper. Camberley then took control with 2 goals in the first 5 mins of ET only to gift Peacehaven one back straight away. To be fair to the keeper he made 2 worldy saves in the 2nd period of ET to win the game. In my opinion if Camberley continue to play that way they will end up outside of the top 6. Good luck to Peacehaven for the rest of the season.

Well done to SL and TC the the rest od the Frimley Mob applause

Well done also to the rest of the CCL sides getting through, unlucky El Guffs, sound like a valiant effort mate.

Lost To Hartley Wintney 2-1, disappointing result, missed chances cost us dear in the end. Hartley did not the ball round well to their credit.

Ash won one at Bedfont in a scrappy game with the goal coming halfway into the first half. Not our best performance but i would say the most important as we had been sliding the wrong way down the table, now let hope this result is the turning point & we can now start to climb the table

Woods moved into the league cup quarter finals (Hi Teffers)!! following a stiff test against Warlingham. Wars led twice in the first half (sandwiched by a class Mark Longley strike).

Woods better in the second half and Chris Beard, Daniel Hughes and Longley added equally good and varied goals.

No cakewalk this for Woods and Wars played well throughout the game and will go well, hopefully, in div 1 this season!

Longley 14-13 Amara now!

A game of missed chances. Guildford City 2 Chertsey Town 2. Chertsey took the lead against the run of play but City hit back and could of scored 5 before the break, the keeper and the woodwork having a blinder. The second half started as the first ended with City on the attack but it was Chertsey who scored with their brilliant no8 scoring his second goal of the game. A deflected own goal evened the scores but Guildford were the better team on the day, but we must put them away if we want the points.

Ash were terrible, we weren t much better, but the referee and his two asses were by far worse,

The high light of the performance was before Ash scored, we caught Ash off side but won the ball played a good ball over the top to our forward who beat their offside trap, he controlled it in about 15-20 yards of space only keeper to beat and the ref blows for our free kick. half time i get to speak to him asked why he left it so long to whistle and why he didnt play advantage. I made a mistake he said . No you didnt you cheating c'''t a mistake is when you blow the whistle whilst the ball is in mid air then finding out its gone to our forward. not wait until he gets it.

Well done indeed to Frimley G - at risk of stirring something up just how many 'stars' came in for this game?

Certainly was one of the shocks of the round along with two STEP6 beating STEP5 : Larkhall - albeit against Lymington who have been terrible of late - and Buckingham Athletic away at Egham.

....re CCL clubs - leaves just Camberley, Molesey and FG in the hat for the 3rd Round. Hope they avoid each other.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
... on a different tack - What the flying &^*% happened at Chobham yesterday - one hell of a way to get their first win of the season - maybe they aren't dead ducks after all?
Well done SL !!!
Saw this on the Binfield website
not bitter are they !! for the record from my days at Bisley i always found Binfield to be one of those clubs who simply think they are better than everyone else, a very arrogant club -
What a travesty!
Shocking ref / shocking pitch / a team which clearly hadn't read their own notice board which asked for respect for referees and good sporting attitudes on the pitch. I hope they enjoy their third round game they certainly don't deserve it!
Unlucky Binfield - one cross bar - an open goal missed - and a stone cold certain penalty decision for a push not given. Still you fought well throughout and went out with considerably more dignity that the winners!!
Best wishes for the rest of the season from an 'old veteran'
At some point someone may actually give us credit for the way we played or kept things organised. The comment made on their website surprises me as there was not one single card for arguing with the ref. We did pick up 2 bookings for kicking the ball away and time wasting. I guess dignity is not judged on trying to kick a changingroom door off its hinges.
Scouting on Binfield was that they loved to go down the wings and cut inside for the wingers to shoot. We cut the service out to them and they resorted to the long ball game which Robbo and Laister just absorbed.
Our goalkeeper was not passed fit before the game so TC went in the sticks and was excellant. The Binfield keeper made 2 world class saves and I thought the game had a draw written all over it.
