steve 08
Well what can i say it was dredfull game think we mangaged 3/4 shots on goal. Another bad ref but lets put that aside for now as we cant blame the ref for the lack of commitment and desire by some of the players. Well done to Heffer, doumas,Burbridge(until he got sent off) and clarey(when he came on) for me the only players who stood out for me. I dont no why he took off are best midfielder Deane and he keeps on Hunter who does nothing again dont no why he keeps playing him. clarey done well when he came on made some good challenges and won the headers and was trying to get the team going. heffer looks so much more comfortable with clarey beside him they always seem to be communicating with eachother. Duncun had an ok 1st half but bad in second. Richard looked out of his depth for me 6"4 and didnt win a header neither a tackle. We have to get behind the team as much as we can for tuesday night as its not nice for the players to hear that at the end of the game, asmuch as i agree with most of it but it doesnt help the confidence. Opinions on the game?

You don't want to know! A lot of shouting. I think everyone had a lot of anger and frustration build up inside them that they just all boiled over at the end of the game. Some harsh words were said but i think today was the worst game ive seen by far this season. I would just like to forget it.
Simon BTFC
The first half was an absolute car-crash of a performance from us - team selection, tactics, work-rate, quality of football, mental toughness and team spirit; we were lacking all over. We rallied a little bit at 3-0 and 9 men, but overall it was not good enough. I can't remember being as angry with a performance as I was at half time in a long, long time. Adam.S
Have to agree with simon. We played Duncan at right back so he was out of position. I mean if your going to do that, you might as well keep playing marron at right back, hes done a good job there. We took off adrien deane so buckfield could come on when tucker got sent off. Adrien had been our best player in that gametill then so why they took him off??? We lacked everything i thought, especially team spirit after the game. It looked like the team had just gone to have a casual kick-about. Why do we keep playing bricknell up front on his own?!?!?! He cannot work upfront on his own to the best he can, he needs someone with him. And lastly, the management are running out of excuses. They cant blame the team we had available because we have players back from injury now, they can't blame the players for not performing because it's their job to get them performing and they cannot blame the ref. We have to be ready for the refs we get nowadays, we all know what they are likely to be like and we have to be ready for that. Rant over.
Sticks
Even in the morning after the day before the only words I can find to describe yesterday are woeful and embarrassing. I thought maybe a corner might have been turned after the Margate game but it was just the one swallow making that summer. The sendings off can't be blamed for this - we were 2 down and looking poor with eleven players still on the pitch. IMO we were fortunate 'just' to concede the 5, they could and should have had at least 7. I have to agree with the above, why was Duncan at right back and why was Deane taken off? We were 2-0 down! The ref was poor but the lack of discipline and team spirit on show is a worry. This is the third hammering away from home already this season. Injuries or no injuries its not good enough. Any more and we'll be looking over our shoulders and not at the top end, 7 points of the play offs I think but just 5 off the relegation places.
