No heart , no passion , no winners in the side . What has happened to us , the only two that wanted to play were Mo loved it when he kissed the badge on his shirt and the New lad Ebbaniza , but unfortunatly there was absolutley no go in the rest after those 1st 10mins . Gutted is the word .

The new lad Ebbaniza looks full of pace and showed some good moves,reminds me off SWP,as said Mo tryed his hardest and came throu ok,the defence,CR~P.

Not there-so can't really comment; but the team that was put out looks like the type of team we were expecting to be playing in mid summer-lots of young local lads .

Can we expect anything better from them.

Frankly, Yorath seems to have taken us backwards-and he has had 3 weeks now to get the 'experiens playerd' he decides he needs (but in the summer was advocating youth ) -i'm getting very mixed messages on what direction he is taking the club in .He was suggesting that he had players lined up for BA to sign-but BA did not want them-where have they all disappeared to ?.

Maybe its not as easy as he thought.

 

He seemed to be doing well for the club as director of football,but maybe hand on management is not for him these days ?

 

Sometimes, you have to go back to go forwards, so i'll keep the faith in Mr Yorath-he should know what he is doing afterall,but i have this horrible feeling we'll be in a mess-and then he'll leave the ship entirely,which would be a shame.

Totally agree with Welshbob. Supporters of larger clubs using Newcastle United as an example, would be calling for the board to resign after the mistakes that have resulted in what was once Kents best non league club. Instead Margate FC are an absolute laughing stock and total mess. I have totally lost faith and do not believe anything the board say. It is tragic. I hope that the people of Thanet and those good faithful supporters have good news soon because I like many others am losing total interest.

well said paul h i totally agree interest is waining very fast the directors must be able to see whats happening but dont seem to care .the development is all that matters the football comes a distant second.they have however got it wrong when we are in the kent league with 50 gates every week reality will set in

i cant believe theyve just sat back and taken virtually no notice of the fact that 7 years ago, our attendances were 700 higher than they were today... if they had worked harder to improve things, we could have made up that

I am working late's on that night unfortunately can't get there but I too hope those people go there & say what they say on here.

If you want answers to those questions then the meeting is the best chance of getting them(not guaranteed, but possible)..if you turn up & ask!

Cold light of day and still p issed off about yet another poor home result, can it be that the board are just allowing the team to sink to new lows in order to justify the 10 point deduction through CVA or like many think have no interest in avoiding the inevitable downfall of Margate FC. Am seriously pondering my support for the club (not the team) as even Spurs fans have more to shout about than us and thats saying something!!!

What annoys me on this forum is when people post we lost to a poor team. What are we then? seen the majority of teams in this league and imo we are the third poorest team I have seen. Most of the sides seem capable of at least keeping the ball and playing it to feet. unlike us. Most of the time we hoof it and hope for the best.

The club needs a new face on the scene with some clout and new ideas but in this climate who could do that . MFC has to be at its lowest point for many yrs and with surporters putting there own hands in there pockets to help you can`t get much more desperate than that if the club can`t afford to go on without us dipping deep to help , but thats the choice of the fan that wants to help the club . I hope that this is noticed by board members in time . Well done to all who have helped out the club so far with the pledges but it should not be happening . Up the Gate .
