Don't know if the Bookies over there bet on every race meeting in Oz but my horse(in a syndicate) Succeed is running at GUNDAGAI tomorrow..#12 in Race 5....Friday..3:38 Eastern Daylight Time.

She won well last start and is running over 1400 metres again.

She has drawn barrier 12 whic should see us getting som enice Each Way odds about her...I'm looking at 8/1-10/1.

The wide barrier won't disadvantage as she likes to be ridden back in the field and outside other runners.

She's definitely worth an Each Way bet and you might pick up some extra cash for Xmas.

Well...there's riding 'back in the field' and there's 'riding back in the field'.....the hairless monkey had her sitting 20 lengths off the lead after 400 metres......shemade up some ground over the concluding stages to finish mid-field and about 6 lengths from the winner. Not a bad run I guess. Started at $18 on the Tote.

The hot favourite ran second by a head. He has started favourite in all of his 8 races for 1 win and 7 seconds!

Now that would be frustrating.

Our other horse, Floozie. has her first start at Wagga on the 25th.

Jockey claims that he struck interference just after the start and about 400 metres into the race the horse was knocked sideways. By that time he was too far out of his ground to make an impression on the leaders so decided to give Succeed an easy run and not 'knock her about'.

She is starting again at Wagga on the 28th as is Floozie...might get a double!
