floating on the ASM is not as easy as you think, someone has to underwrite the share issue to make sure that its fully taken up or if not the underwriter keeps the shares left over and has to pay for them.

it might be difficult to get them underwritten.

I've heard that a big bunch of shares are up for sale anyway.

anyone know anything about that.

But going on the ASM is better for a smaller business thn going on the normal stock market because it is designed for smaller businesses, so they do not have to compete with big ones, it also cost less to enter it and there are less restrictions

we are told about cross being the new youth manager, however i have heard mr moore say: "I hate youth football and I hate the parents that come with it!" I think this says a lot about billercays future under the chairman. This is merely a smoke screen, to shut people up about the need for youth football. If anything does happen it will fail and cross will be blaimed and if it doesn't, it stopped people asking for a while.

i am an ex reserve player and i left the club a little while ago. [color:"black"] [/color]

1stly, would anyone invest into Billericay Town??

And 2ndly,it will not bring in that much investment. 1000 people would have to buy £10's worth of shares, to pay one roy essandoh's wages. So for more players of the same quality wee would need more investment.

3rdly, Billericay seems to be operated as Rod Moore's personal "cash-in-hand bar" business that does not appear to have accounts (for what ever reason, above or below the board) and the club doesn't have many accounts, which would not fully display all cash transactions, not enabling them to float on the market anyway. And as stated earlier, by someone else, the stocks would bring in money for the stadium, if the could acctually get on the market and if we get the stadium.

Your inside source! A.K.A MR. X!

never believe anything in football <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Hampton will apparently be making an announcement on their new manager tomorrow.

Don't for one minute believe daggers would spend 70k on any player.

One prominent applicant for the Billericay job apparently asked for take home pay (ie after tax) of £800pw for 52 weeks of the year!

Please be aware that the anonymous who is an ex reserve player is the same anonymous who is also mr x in the posting afterwards.

therefore i would ask that people treat these anonymous comments with a large pinch of salt as there is clearly a few pork pies being told

Mike Baldwin, out of Coranation street. The clubhouse is going to be turned into a factory making womens underwear. It is thought that this market is exclusivley aimed at men from Canvey and Aldershot.
