So Richard reckons he knows who is paying what in our league. Yes players do talk but they probably don't talk to him.

 

He has also suggested that Romford are paying players. Well we dont have that luxury I am afraid. If you ever got sight of a Romford financial balance sheet you would see just how impossible it is for us to pay wages!

i know full well of two romford players being paid this year. I also know that a couple of romford players having been getting money for a couple of season. One is still a player and the other is now at a ryman club

It may not go through the books Boroman, but im sure there are players getting "backhanders", so in a way are getting paid.

 

I know a few players at certain clubs where thats happening. Its not un-normal!

Maybe so. But it shows that sometimes it better to have no budget, as you then get people at the club, because they want to be there.

Well its not hard to work out the one playing Ryman now, as i think from your last few season there is only one player who has made the step up and he is playing for the ryman club you share the ground with.

And as far as I know there are 3 Romford players who play for the club we share a ground with.

OK I admit it, as Kitman at Romford i get paid two cheese sarnies and a chocky bicky every game. And I know for a fact Lighty is the best paid gateman in the league.

I assume the same person who is paying the other player for the last couple of years and who is paying the new striker. And the same person who was going to cover part of wages of the aveley player who you wanted on loan

Well you seem to know more about the goings on at Romford better than me. Must be where you have a bigger involvement in The Club

I only know who gets the money as i know ex-players at your club. Maybe you should make the players leaving sign some contract saying there are not allowed to tell people who is getting paid or stop me drinking with Maskell on sat nights

Well,now that we are discussing this subject I have to say..I do get paid I can't disclose the exact figure because of tax reasons but I believe that i'm one of the top earners in this league.
