Revenge for Bookham against Bedfont in not a very good game by either side being totally ruined by a very poor, inept, shocking refereeing display and you know its bad when I say something about the officials !!!!!

Lost 4-2. At 2-2 had our keeper sent off, 2 sending off's in 2 games. Just what you need when your at the bottom of the table!

Poor decisions throughout the Epsom v Chertsey game by my favourite CCL ref. Always know what you're going to get or not get as is the case so often! Chertsey deserved their win, Epsom failed to compete with the same desire in the second 45 which was a shame as their first half performance was decent. Two good sides tho...

General opinion at our club is that they are the best team we've played all season, regardless of the Camberley nightmare. Last night, even at 1-0 down, they looked like they could up a gear to win and they did by dragging the clumsy CB and putting Coops on after half hour. Epsom are a good hard working side who look to turn around defences as quickly as possible. I was disappointed with them at 1-2 though as they didn't really change things around and go for an equaliser. Their big striker was causing problems for CT but they took him off!

Have to agree with Teffers on last nights game, the referee was abysmal and one of the worst I have seen in a long time. The game wasn't nasty but cards were getting dished out all over the place. How is this respect program supposed to be taken seriously if it is one way.

ok fair enough the ref wasnt the best but, you cant blame the ref for your players kicking the ball away at any opportunity when a free kick has been awarded to Bedfont. of course we are gonna scream at the ref to lay down the laws of the the game!! and its for your staff to give those players a kick up the backside for doing it especially as one of your players picked up a second yellow for doing so and the other for calling the ref a cheat to his face (or somthing like that). we had the same kind of problem earlier in the season where 2 players walked thruogh red cards but there was not a single challenge in the whole game but have managed to get it out of our game now. also if were still there now i dont think we would of scored. it was like you built a wall in front of the goal!!!!

Agree with the second caution for kicking the ball away and his later sending off, but not the 1st one for the left back for the same offence as he's in the motion of striking the ball when the ref blew up for a foul throw. Booked the centre half for a challenge that there must of been 20 similar in the game and the left midfielder for having a drink when the play had stopped !! so some very poor decisions, but some correct as well.

 

Yes you had some chances to score and more than us last night especially in the last 15-20 mins or so but we defended to the very end some great blocks and a couple of decent saves by the keeper.

Butler you shouldn't get so defensive so easily as I thought he was bad for both sides. I didn't actually specify the sendings off as to why the ref was awful. The one for a guy kicking the ball away when the ref decides to blow the whistle while he is in motion just summed up his performance. The second red was acceptable and the player should know better. His decisions, both ways, had many confused.

 

And screaming was probably the best way to describe a couple of your benches vocals! They were asking for reds at every possible opportunity!

I think the ref was not helped by people like queenie, screaming

for players to be sent off after every decision. i never thought i would say this, but i felt sorry for the officials.

re the game, i thought malloy was outstanding, as for the keeper making some good saves, i thought you used to play in goal.and finally lightning you do look mincing without a kit on.

No Roland I used to stand in goal !!!!

 

He did make a couple of errors granted but also a couple of sharp stops nothing spectacular as Bedfont's shooting was woeful.
