Hi Guys,

Enjoyed the day and your hospitality but who on gods earth writes your match reports!!!!

If anybody read that who hadnt been there they would think posh had been under the cosh for most of the match, truth is Lewis made 1 (one) save all match.

Dont get me wrong, we were crap, not one of our players played to their usual standard and believe me that wasnt due to your players...

Anyway, good luck rest of the season and get a new match report writer...x

Urchins need to remove some of their spines to stop them being so prickly...

1) The quality of the game, according to all Posh fans was well below the expected standard this season. Therefore it was a rubbish match.

2) Urchins will reflect on the scoreline, reflect on the chances (including a disallowed goal) and consider themselves unlucky. Therefore the match report will give Urchins a warm glow.

3) "Good luck against Harrow Borough." I thought that's who the Urchins were playing next? Sorry if I was wrong, sorry if wishing you luck is an offence for which my mother must now conduct fellatio on wild animal.

If you don't like match reports, don't read them.

There is nothing like being there.

Official figures from the BBC are.

Shots on target:- Urchins 1 Posh 16

Shots off target:- Urchins 3 Posh 4.

These would make the game sound 1 sided.

These figures don't reflect the game as i saw it.

Hornchurch O - the stats as published by the BBC are wrong. Not only that, they are incorrect, and they are not right.

Here are the true figures, as recorded, as and when they happened.

Corners - HFC 4 - PU 10

Shots at goal

FH - HFC 5 - PU 3

SH - HFC 8 - PU 6

Whether the shot is on target or off target is completely irrelevant - if the ball goes into the net, it counts, unless the referee deems otherwise.

When the ball goes wide (even it it goes inches wide), or is saved, then it does not count as a goal.

So 'shots at goal' are more important or equally important as to whether they are on or off target.
