Credit to Thatcham they played well and certainly will take points off higher placed sides than themselves. We didn't really seem to get out the blocks today but we battled and proved we wanted it more. Also when a player went in late on Seeds he did something that maybe a season or so ago he wouldn't do...he walked away! However his face was so red he looked like he was going to explode! Great to see him back on the scoresheet!

Coyne's goal was another excellent strike. Does he ever score tap ins!?

If you look at three of our four games before the Slough hammering we won 1-0 and battled to get the win and the other game was a well battled for point against Cinderford (which in my opinion we should have won?. We have shown we have the class to destroy poor teams and the grit and determination to battle it out when necessary to get the points. if we can keep this going we stand a good chance of the play offs(if not automatic promotion) and can give Team Bath a run for their money in the Trophy. Scotty has clearly given the lads the some mettle that was lacking under Lane and a belief that they can win every time they go out. Coyne and Seedel also appear to be better behaved (Seedel from Saturday and Coyne when he was booked against Burnham just laughing rather than mouthing off)

Oh, and looks like Slough have finally turned the corner LOL!!!!!
