It must have been Jake, cos HOrsham are the poorest team we've played this season. But, you know how this league is - very inconsistant. You've got a good team. The times i've seen them play i was impressed. Believe in TY and keep behind him and the team and fingers crossed wink

Being a Margate fan is depressing enough at the moment.

WHAT A LOAD OF UNADULTERATED CRAP THIS GAME WAS.

We had the upper hand for about 3 minutes (a couple of chances missed)

They scored 2 in 3 minutes and our lot gave up.

They had no idea, honestly. Bloody hopeless.

Lesley has vowed not to go again, she's not going out in the cold for a couple of hours to watch that kind of performance.

I won't be going to any more long distance away games (with the exception of the Urchins game of course).

To be honest I wish I'd saved my money and be going to the Hornchurch game tomorrow dammit.

Probably go over to Northdown Park (2 minutes away) and watch the Sunday League games over there.

They had no passion, very little idea what to do when they got the ball, other than give it back to the opposition. And the chorus gave them the 'Your Not Fit To Wear The Shirt' send off . . . and on this performance they were right, and I'm one of the diehards that has tried to support them regardless.

Starting to ramble on a bit now, so will shut up and get the scotch bottle out.

Utterly dreadful today. Terrible at the back (on another day, they would have had 7 or 8), midfield had no idea, strikers did nothing with the (very) little service they had. One shot on target all game? Simply not good enough.

Yorath the saviour? Do me a favour! We showed more under Ashby at the start of the season than I've seen in the first few games of Yorath's reign. We need to sort it out....and soon!

Have to say we made an ordinary Horsham side look good. We went 2-0 down in seven minutes, the first - from a corner was just inside the near post .. not guarded (isn't that schoolboy stuff), the second was scored on a breakaway down the left wing, shot just inside the far side post - Scott nearly got a hand to it, but it was well taken.

We lined up as Michael suggested, but on 15 mins TY took off Kerringan and replaced him with Harker - indicating to Parkinson that they were switching to 4-4-2 with Harker at right back.

That seemed to sure up the defence(well we didn't concede again) but, quite frankly, we looked woeful going forward. Our passing was poor and moves broke down from misdrected balls before we got into the area. From memory we only had a couple of shot in the first half, but truth is the keeper wasn't really troubled. About 10 mins before the end of the second half Ryan was stretchered off (replaced by Coleman) with a gashed foot, for which he was taken to hospital with stitches.

The second half was more of the same, our passing was mostly woeful(3 passes in a row was a rarity), making it easy for Horsham to defend. Horsham looked superior in every department, but should have added to the score, however Scotty saved us from the real humilation that was inflicted on us at the same ground in the FA Cup.

I have to say that the side is loaded with players who, last season would have struggled to make the bench.
