News Update

Recommended Posts

This is as I expected things to turn out though of course I was hoping all the money raised by both supporters, allies & the club would have amounted to the tax bill & this be avoided altogether.

Whilst its not an ideal situation to have to face, the most important thing is that the club will still survive & not fold or begin again from the lower levels.

This way we only drop one division(assuming the necessary points can't be won).

Anyways looks like we'll possibly be playing Ramsgate again next season after all. wink laugh

Hopefully the club CAN come up with something before that date but I doubt that will happen somehow.

Its not good news but its certainly not the worst news we could have had concerning this.

As Michael says & quite rightly the Taxman still has to accept this before we really know where we stand.

Quite right IMO and would be impressive on any players CV to achieve safety in the league. As well as talent managers look for guts and determination It would give players that extra edge in their future careers to be part of a team that overcame this setback. So a great opportunity to stand up and be counted.

The other thing is of course-that whilst the rumour mill as far as i am aware, is not awash with clubs in the ryman premier division in similar circumstance; but its not inconceivable that another couple of clubs may be forced to take the same route before the season is over !!

Any one know a Sugar Daddy ?

that thought crossed my mind too, maybe this will open the floodgates as other clubs decide take a risk on -10 points to achieve security.

As there is a promise from the development partner to pay HRMC upon planning acceptance, and they are only likely to have to wait a couple of extra months at the most,i would have thought that in this instance,HRMC may well accept the proposal.(but will 75% of the other creditors?).

I posed a qestion earlier as to whether you can still sign players under FA rules when you have a points deduction -or does a transfer embargo apply-does anyone know ?
