Nine out of ten for the Bacon Cheeseburger. Oh and coffee in mugs too - that's posh! I'd forgotten how walking down that lane in pitch black is dicing with death, to put it mildly!

Defeat for the City but a much stronger performance than in recent weeks. Bedfont keeper (who, coincidentally, is a lot more professional than Mr Banks) was on form to deny a few decent chances, while Bedfont spurned a few good opportunities at the other end.

20 minute wait for chips and the end result probably wasn't worth it... but the lady in the snack bar was friendly enough! One of the two people at the club who aren't miserable old gits, it would seem.

Can anyone explain why the bloke in front of us in the queue put pepper in his coffee? Or was it Bovril?

pitch is the worst its been all season. The down pour at the weekend plus a sunday match on it has not helped.

Usually it is very good. It certainly made tonights match a more even game. Have to be happy with a point i suppose. Cove need to put the weaker teams away and stop giving them chances to get back in the game.

Think id rather play the top 8 in the league 5 times than the bottom 4 in the league.

If we can stay in the top 5 and within 6 points of the leader come xmas then we have a good chance to challenge.

Frimley Res 2 - 3 Hartley Res. Frimley 2-0 up with 25 to go. Hartley scored from 2 corners and a penalty. Hartleys forwards are good lads and actually enjoyed the battle with them eventhough one of them was Blakey and he is rapid.

I thought that Hartleys left back who was fatter than me was quite funny when he called me a Fat kent. I also got accused of coming on here and not putting my name to anything by Mike Scott. I have always said who I was and never hid behind an alias.

An exchange which happened:

Mike Scott: "Whats it like in Div 1 you p**ck"

Me: "Its ok, but you will be able to tell me yourself next year"

Quick question for Hartley Hare and those at Hartley first team:

Did Alex Croxford score in your first game of the season? Or was it Scott Holman playing under his name as he had not signed on by then?

Bedfont 2 Guildford 1

on the whole very pleased to win this game, we knew it was gonna be tough.

Guildford will definetly start to climb the table in the coming weeks.

The pitch was very heavy after the weekend rain and very difficult to string 5 passses together because of the boggyness, but this Bedont side has a bit more bolocks about now when it comes to a battle so onwards towards epsom and ewell on saturday.

we'll try and do you a favour Johnno

Bookham Res 2-4 Cobham Res (AET)Surrey Premier Cup

Ressies lost in this local derby played at Cobham. Fairly even game until extra time with the hightlight of seeing Jurg (playing with a broken nose) being beaten by a header from the edge of the box, looping over his head giggle Unfortunately he had the last laugh by winning the game applause made a couple of decent save too.

Wish it was Gussy but we played the poorest all season against Cambo and speaking to some of their supporters they were playing some of the best stuff they have seen all season, put the two together and you get a big win. Can't believe that slope there though, to everybody on this forum GO DOWN THE SLOPE FIRST HALF!!! doh

Anyway the lads responded in the best possible way last night, Chertsey were gracious in defeat too although I didn't see the owner/manager at all after the game but there again I wasn't looking for him.
