Tonight Ressies v Hythe Town in Floodlight Trophy

Bitch

Recommended Posts

My man at pitch side reports the Gate Ressies could be 5 up by now and playing them off the park. Mullins in goal has not been challenged...

A balmy and dry evening and some flowing beautiful footy being played. A crowd estimated at around 150 which is a great turn out for a Tuesday night with the Champions League on the telly.

Mr Yorath is casting his eye over the future Gate players and sends his regards and mentioned he's up for grabs for a dinner for 2 on the Misa raffle! laugh

Hold onto your hats the silent listeners! 4 up! cheerleader

Quaine took posession of the ball, made a maisy run through 6 of thier players to slot home under the hapless keeper. The stunned crowd have burst into an orgy of conga dancing and are rocking around the pitch. They aren't use to it evil

Calm down viewers! grin

You may well ask if the conga has come to eel? Yes, they are cheering and going mad yay

My man of the moment reports it could be 10! That's no bad reflection on Hythe who have come to make a match of it. But, the Gate lads realise they are being watched. The 1st team manager is casting his eye and they are all trying to impress. This has lifted the lads and brought out the best of british in them. They are playing for Queen, Country and Mr Yorath.

Sorry for the delay folks. I know you've been on the edge of your seats, but...On calm reflection, our action man (Taffy) serene now after congoing around the ground has spoken....*take a deep breath*...

Every player shone tonight. From Mullins in goal for his one save to all the players under his experienced command. Though it seemed a comprehensive rout, Hythe battled the whole game, but the Gate lads were just too strong for them.

A very vocal and loyal 150 crowd cheered the lads on to victory and the chanting and encouragement spurred the lads against a very courageous Hythe.

Sir Yorath is impressed with individual performances and have given him food for thought, which is quite uncanny as i've won the Misa have a meal with the Manager raffle prize laugh

Not that i was there obviously as i was having to be the on forum reporter, but i do have the ability to read between the lines of the reports filtered through from our man at pitch side and conjure up a picture...

Was more like 50. This figure also includes the players who didn't make the team or bench. Injured players youth players and a managers meeting that was taking place at the same time, parents ang wives / girlfriends. Take these away and you are left with a few hard core supporters Perhaps 10?.
