Welwyn Garden City

Recommended Posts

This article from the Welwyn & Hatfield Times caught my eye about the formation of a new Club in the City backed by local MP Grant Shapps, I would say that Welwyn Garden City have something to worry about:

WGCFC - Well if you can't see it for yourself then I'm not about to tell you, have your Club ever spoken to Grant Shapps MP or met with him.

Clue Rhodes: You've posted a link to the paper's home page, which changes daily!

Horace - WGCFC saw the article when I originally posted it. Incidentally what has happened to Oracle, Bilbo and Bramley, are they still associated with the Club.

Are you sure? I clicked the link even before I'd had my breakfast and the piece had already gone - I'm desperate to know what it was about!

You know full well that the ex-Edgware boys will have moved on. As disciples of Steve and Del, there is nothing for them now at Herns Lane. To match up to them for devotion you would have had to have followed Mr Temile. Where did he go?

Thanks HTFCew. Nice to deal with a straightforward person.

Horace - Here is the article in question, you have to ask yourself why Grant Shapps MP hasn't approached Welwyn Garden City to seek their help and suggest collaborating with the new Club which would lead to funding opportunities:

Yes what has happened to him. Surely his self appointed agent must be able to keep us upto date on his whereabouts.

Clement is currently in Lilleshall dotting i's and crossing t's and putting the finishing touches to his UEFA 'A' Coaching licence. He will then be open to offers but is not keen to entertain any at our level following the shocking treatment he received at Kentish Town in the last six months of his tenure with the Club.

So they want improved facilities and more money and they're going to Enfield.

Maybe you never know.

Newing and the Enfield board structure - can't see it somehow. Would have been better off at W&F but the "Clan" wouldn't have him. Too scared.

Dont know how and why but came across this from a really old post .

Improved facilities , now QE Stadium brand new and 3 seasons on from this post Ryman Premier

Newing and the Enfield Board Structure seemed to work out after all
