Was one of the 64 at Cleeve v Paulton today, to be honest 64 is generous, looked half that! Hope the injuries/suspensions are out of the way by next week, or could struggle. Cleeve not that good a team this year, BUT they play for each other and the shirt. Most are local kids and proud of it. They play

"in your face" football, and have just signed Julian Alsop from Cirencester. The manager is a loudmouth, but has contacts and knows his stuff, also has invested in the club himself. Individually they have quite a few weak players, but they play as a team, and cover for each other well.

 

There you go, one scouting report, from an "expert", and I paid to get in! Got third in the raffle too, 4 bottles of lager, not bad for an afternoons work.
