seems like it's perfectly fine to abuse abbeynut for his part in a game being called off for whatever reason, but a spooky lack of posts regarding excuses and finger pointing regarding saturday's cancellation.

couple this with the amount of deleted posts and locked threads after the basildon u18 match at the bridge (which i was at btw), then i think we have a full on conspiracy here...

its been alleged that Basildon were missing players so "conveniently " missed the deadline for paying the fine , thereby earning themselves a ban .

oh right, well if that's to be believed 1tit, that's so much more acceptable than crucifying someone for not painting the lines and then arguing regarding who was in the bar at what time isn't it? classy stuff from basildon. wd all round.

OB that is crap, due to a mix up which was entirely our fault a fine that we thought had been paid wasnt.County informed Dave Cusack at 12.00 Friday that as the fine hadnt been paid we were sine die, after talking to County the money was paid cash friday afternoon to their offices in Chelmsford and our sine die was lifted, the ESL were informed but did not allow us to play the game.If we were trying to get games called off do you not think we would have done it against Romford when we had 6 ressie players involved. Not you,but how other people can compare having a game called off the day before,to having a game called off when you are sitting in the changing room ready to go is beyond me.Also if people read my first post on this thread I actually said that I hope Eton Manor do not get a fine.

Not for me to chip in, as its none of my business of course, but funny how I never mentioned that Bas were also banned before our reserve game on 14th Oct and a last minute phone call from the EHBC told us it was back on after fines were paid on the day.......

Funny that, and I didn't feel it warranted any mention as I was the local football killer around here.........

Thanks for putting everyone straight. However I think the Echo must have just assumed it was due to a waterlogged pitch as that is what they put in last night????
