Couldnt get there from Cookies link but there is a letter which refers to Sandys support for the location of the Medi centre !!

Some points to note:

 

Sandy Ezekiel supports the proposal.

 

The medical centre wraps round the corner of the ground where the turnstiles are, extending as far as the clubhouse in one direction and roughly one third of the pitch in the other.

 

Fans shouldn't get too excited, because no mention is made of doing anything to the stadium, other than (presumably) demolishing the wooden bit and relocating the turnstiles.

The point is Chris once the Medi Centre is up and running it will help with funding the rest of the stadium, ok slower than first mentioned, but will help.

Chris1 Why do you have to be so negative? You may be new or have not been following the plans. Mind you it has been a number of years now. The medical centre was planned ages ago and once started/completed the funding would be available for the ground. The pitch is to be moved forward from its current position and the new stand placed in front of it. The council had also given their support to it when first planned.

Cynical perhaps, not negative (although I didn't intend that in the above post!). We have seen years of revised plans, and I think that is the main reason.

 

Thanks for the info anyway, although I must have missed the stadium plan that included this medical centre. Is it the same as the driving test centre one, with the pitch turned 90
