A controversial move, to say the least. According to Laz, Zeal etc, change is bad. According to Durkheim, change is good, but only you and me know that.

Yes, I think Comte would also agree as would Karl Marx. Are you sure about Durkheim though? He's a functionalist and functionalists are kind of like Tories, I suppose, and they're a bit scared of change,hence the name 'the CONSERVatives'

In the case of crime and deviance, Durkheim argues that deviance is 'an integral part of a healthy society,' and that crime creates change, which is good, as opposed to stagnation, which is bad.

GHA, I presonally think the religion modules quite interesting. It's not at all like you'd imagine it to be, not like an RE lesson at all. What module do you do instead then apart from C&D and T&M?
