After recent exertions and considering the ESC game at GWR next Tuesday, a light training session on Saturday was considered more appropriate.

spot on scott. plus, if you were a hornchurch player, would you want to risk a clumsy challenge in a friendly match which could cost you your place in the starting line up for the fa cup 1st round proper?

imo we are geared up for the posh and its human nature to be thinkin that far ahead wot player in his rite mind would risk injury for that fixture because of a friendly in between ? not so sure colin will field his strongest 11 at wakering either

To be honest we have been there done that in the ESC, have we beat Peterborugh? No, never wanted the friendly and now we can save our pennies for the Big one!

Its a question of priorities, Evan. The players come first. I still think they are mentally drained after the Weymouth game. Loosing to maidstone and having a free weekend is a blessing in discuise.
