Listening to the interview today, it does appear that the club know what needs to be done, and have at last confirmed it with us. I see Mo is here for a months trial which I think is very sensible under the circumstances. It means that there is a breathing space to look for the striker that we desperately need without committing to anything long term, and maybe we might find another Hockton, Collins or Buglione out there. He also admitted that they are looking for an experienced centre half. The emphasis was on experience which many people recognised before the season kicked off. Lets hope that we can find someone soon and we can start to climb the table and get back to the "Fortress Hartsdown" that we have boasted in the past.

Coming back to the topic; i wish TY all the best and for the sake of the club-hope he does really well.

 

Is this the same TY extolling now experience;as the TY supportive of the Boards plans (previous ? ) to grow the club through youth .

 

Everyone can change their minds of course, but explanations and justifications do help understanding

 

Consistency off pitch aswell as good consistent on pitch results may help.

I though Harker did ok-looked nervous -understandably.

 

First 10 mins- i was worried for LW -looked a bit lost-then came into the game and did well-particuarly well for a first game at 17- very good prospect- (who was the similar Maidstone young player who went to Fulham in the summer ).

One great tackle in the 6 yard box near the ned as one of their players closed in on goal

 

Ill reserve a bit of judgement on LW until he is up against someone like Haworth or Welford-then see how he does .

 

Overall though-well done LW.

 

We do need that experience centre half though just the same.

 

Another good game from Captain Young-although whilst SCS was mainly at fault-it was Dan Youngs poor misdirected cross field header direct to their player-as opposed to heading it upfield which presented their guy to take the cross shot-so DY a bit at fault aswell on the first goal.

I do wonder about SCS. A couple of seasons ago we were lauding him as one of the best keepers in the Ryman league, and many preferred him over Mitten, if I remember rightly. So what has happened, it must be a confidence thing. We talk about defences not having confidence in their keeper but our defence this season has not been the best to give him confidence. Is he worried about going out and getting stuffed every week? I also don't understand how he seems to have been playing worse over the last few games despite us having Neville Southall here as a coach, do they not get together? As for TY I know he has apparently stated that he does not want the managers job but I would like to see him in charge until at least we get the court case out iof the way.

Worzal are you any relation to Barry or Paul as all 5 of your posts have been very anti things so far. A lot of us were sorry how things turned out for the two of them as both good blokes.

 

However the club has done it now and our backing needs to be behind Terry to try and lift us away from relegation until a new manager is found.

 

Most of his job, from what I saw anyway, was helping the youngsters to progress which seeing Wheatley the other night he had obviously spotted this lads potential too.

Does anyone from the club video the games so the squad can watch privious games to see where they are going and what they are doing wrong in past matches . Maybe SCS can learn something from this as he has probably cost us 3 matches so far this season . I don`t know if he was at the games whilst Lee Butcher was in goal but you would have thought he would or might have picked up things that lee was doing .

We can`t afford to let anymore stupid goals slip like we have done and the last one to go in vire the back post has to end NOW . TY has the experience to get these probs sorted but with no money coming in for tranfers even he might find it hard to bring in players that could help us out but lets hope so . ( WE ALL NO MFC`S SEASONS ARE FILLED WITH MORE UP`S THAN DOWN`S THIS IS JUST ANOTHER ONE ) . Up the Gate .

Pity it did not work out DG.

 

One would have thought irrespective of the commercial opportunity, such a video would have been worth its weight in gold to the manager/coach .

 

That given-probably my short term memory loss again, but i do not recall anything about this and the opportunity to buy DVD's.

 

When we start to win-maybe it will become more popular
