Stambridge United

 

The league have been informed that with immediate effect Stambridge United are withdrawing from the League.

 

In accordance with league rules as they have not completed 75% of their fixtures all points obtained by or recorded against the club have been expunged from the League table.

oh dear . well done to the club officials then for running them in to the ground. On the up side at least they can use that massive pitch for their gun club now !

Hookey thanks for letting me know,I am very sad to hear that, and certainly will not be gloating,a great old club like Stambridge,as you know we tried to warn of what would happen and it gives me no pleasure whatsoever to be proved right

Like Colin im gutted at Stambridge folding, i spent 2 years at the club and its a bloody shame to see it die. RIP.
