Bedfont Green and Epsom are certainly the inform teams at the moment. They are not just winning games, they are winning comfortably aswell. Who can beat them?? Thankfully Cove have played Bedfont Green once already.

We didn't play well 1st half at Horley.

Better in 2nd half via a contested penalty and a substitute goal.

It was freezing apparently.

Green were lucky tonight, could have been 0-4 down after 20 mins and will need to defend better on Sat (Camberley) and Tues (Chertsey).

Ash took the lead & could have & should have been even further in front before a sloppy clearance allowed Bedfont to level just before ht.

then 12 mad second half minutes after the restart saw bedfont go 4-1 with poor defending & good finishing. Pulled a goal back before bedfont rounded the scoring with a late fifth when it came of the players knee & looped over the keeper.

 

played some good football again but just can't put the chances away & then letting ourselves down at the other end

Comfortable for us tonight. Took the lead in the first minute, some shocking defending from Wembley and were 4 up at half time.

 

Second half was a non event, the snow was getting heavier, we scored one but could have had more. Wembley were much better, but the game was over.

 

We are top 2 years to the day Lyndon was given the manager's job, which was nice. Our best EVER start to a season, and now 8 straight wins.

 

As you can tell, I'm quite happy!

 

Tough game on Saturday at North Greenford though...

We gifted The Fizzers 6 goals and were sh1te.

 

Had a goal dissallowed in the first half that should not have been according to both sets of fans. Think the lino was bored and just stuck his flag up to let everybody know he was there.

 

Im not saying it would have changed the game, but at least we would have scored!

 

Put a few fringe players out and it backfired.

 

What hurst more is that everytime Sandhurst scored they laughed and half the players seemed to not care.

 

Must be the worst caretaker manager in history!

I think there will be a development either way in the next few days. Thats all I have been told by the board.

 

Regardless of whether SL returns or a new manager come in, I have told the players that they still need to perform as I am sure my opinion will be asked on who should and should not be in the first team squad
