MFC vs Maidstone Utd ........

We need to be positive and for my part I thought that the two players from the reserves, Wheatley and Harker, acquitted themselves well.

I was also pleased to see Kenny Pratt harrassing the opposing goalkeeper and it was a shame to see the referee take him to task over it. The Maidstone goalkeeper has been around long enough to know the score and its not as though he was liable to get thumped into the back of the net as he might have done in the "old days".

Mullins is still a couple of weeks away. For those listening on the PC, we acquitted ourselves well against a strong Maidstone side. As said by Drummer Luke Wheatley and Ryan Harker did well coming in (Wheatley especially so at just 17). Mo did ok in his first game, certainly didnt seem lazy IMO and could have scored a couple. Power was playing in a midfield role linking up with front two, as for his own goal you couldnt blame him for it and no there were no boos from what I heard.

As I say a strong Stones side who scored through a goalkeeping error and an own goal, so its not all doom and gloom IMO.
