Game Off due to the Snow

 

Honestly. No Snow in Old Windsor mind you!!

 

Comments like "It never snows in the Thames vally" and "it won't settle" bit us on the bum!!!

The snow, however was one of only two entertaining parts of the evening, the other being the goalkeeper fighting with his defence, literally!!! keeper was a big chap as well.

Match was dire and I think the ref just lost the will to live, both managers agreed and he called the game off before anyone slipped into a coma.

How do we get our money back?!?!?!?!?!

I was about 20ft from the managers and and I'm sure they both wanted to continue. Lino didn't seem that bothered either. It was the lack of an orange ball that made the refs mind up.

 

It was the right the decision however to stop the match. The lines were invisible and the players were skidding all over the place. Shame though, as Windsor were on top after a slow start, and I had 84th minute golden goal!!!

Bracknells's keeper should have kicked [****!!****] out of his defenders! They took the piss for acting how they did on the pitch! Fair play to him though had to keep his cool twice when an incident much the same happened not too long after.

 

Not sure if I'm looking forward to the replay if the weather conditions are the same!

 

Any ideas when the replay will be? Do we have to pay again?

"Last night's abandoned home League Cup tie against Windsor & Eton is now to be played on Tuesday 11th November (7.45pm KO)."

The date above is correct as long as we don't draw against Burnham on Saturday which would mean a Trophy replay on the 4th and the Berks & Bucks Cup match scheduled for the 4th would then be the 11th - that's simple isn't it?

 

What it does definitely mean though is the Bishops Cleeve home game which had been arranged for the 11th will now have to be rearranged again!
