Ramsgates player budget in the past has always been alot less than Margates,and with that they have had quite alot of success.

 

If you market a club well then the directors dont have to dig so deep. A figure could range from nothing to

Including insurances, rent and rates, ground maintenance, league criteria, etc? Seems pretty cheap. Obviously the figure will be affected by playing budget versus income from matches, sponsorship and so on.

 

But if the board includes majority shareholders, which I assume it does, anybody wanting to SACK THE BOARD!!!!!!! will have to buy them out (if they are willing to be bought).

You have various revenue sources but the biggest expense is the playing budget, the more money the board put in the more that can be spent on players wages.

 

You are right regarding the board, KP is a major shareholder, so he would have to sell his shares, which on paper are worthless, but (and quite rightly) he would ask for some of the money back which he has put in over the years

 

Hence the dilema, who would pay money to own something which then costs more money to run !!

 

What frustrates me is the lack of pushing of the commerical side, this is a great source of income and should be pushed by all at the club, they is no need to employ a commercial manager at this level.

Agree with last post I have mentioned before the lack of any advertising in the match programme the commercial side of the club is vital and is being ignored

One of the best places to promote yourself is the Schools in the area . All the club would have to do is get in touch with the schools giving them so many free tickets . You could even use the area just before the team dressing rooms as the area the kids attend the games . If say there are 50 kids coming along you could also take an order as to what they may like to eat and drink ie. Burger & chips , Sausage & chips and a coke . So the idea would be free entry and say

1 person doesn't really make a crew, besides i've kind of said that me saying Sack the board was a bit extreme, but i do not agree with how the club is being run and i haven't agreed for quite sometime. I couldn't care less how much money is involved running club, i want everyone (especially you chris) to read back at my posts and think why i want to know how much money is involved in running the club, becuase i'm pretty sure i haven't. It is me criticising how the club is being run, i am not saying how it should be run which will be a completely different matter.

Remember these are the people that take our money when we go through the turnstiles, so i PERSONALLY feel that i have a right to vent my opinion on the people taking the money.
