I've just read 2 very worthy posts from IS in a row.... should we brace ourselves?!!

 

He makes a valid point though. If the calls for the board to go are heard, we'd better pray that they are once again ignored. Regardless of what they've done / not done in the past, and what you think of them now, there may be more money and less hassle with a HDP and no club being there from their perspective....

The shareholders. They own the company and employ the board of directors to run it in a menner acceptable to the shareholders. Add the Pipers' shareholdings together for a majority interest.

Just about the only kink comes in when financial institutions have a say - ie threaten to withdraw finance if a board stays in situ.

I would have thought Alex your comments are not wanted due the the current crisis, how would you feel if the Directors saw your post and thought f*** it we will let the club fold?

i understand your point Alex, they have done more harm than everyone else has in recent years, but we do need their money, and for that reason they need to stick around. when our debts are paid off, we can review the situation, but until then we need them, irrespective of our personal feelings towards them

Alex,its not about people agreeing or disagreeing. Not at this cruical time.

Just think about the present situation we are in before you continue with this please.

I don't like pot noodle, i'm of a super noodle guy myself.

 

People are missing my point i think, maybe saying sack the board is a bit extreme at the moment, but they really need to revise how they are running the club.

 

To be honest this forum does irritate the hell out of me, because people are too scared to say what they think and when they do they just get slated, whats the point of having a forum really
