Well I think he was to blame on Saturday for not bringing on Rolando and Rooney when the boo boys started having a go.

It doesn't sound as if it was for on the field reasons, Frankie. Although personally I do feel that if anyone were asking for BA's head based on the results, then it makes you wonder who they feel could do a better job given all the circumstances. I have to say I was surprised and disappointed at the jeers at the end of the game.

On the terraces and in the bar I heard 5 people say that Ashby HAD to go and the people in question were not standing next to each other during the game nor after.

 

The negative views from the fans is pissing me off no end and is making me consider my support for the club.

 

Why should I have to stand next to or nearby these people.

 

Yes you pays your money and are entitled to comment but now and again you can be positive and encourage those lucky enough to wear the Margate shirt

 

Surely when we were in the Conference and riding high you were not kicking at the style of play and the players so when they need your support and a boost when things are going wrong you give it.

 

(Or are you in the Ezekiel camp and want the club to fold??????)

It seems the only continuity we have at our Club is KP !!not sure if that is good or bad but I only hope TY is the man, must admit I wondered at the start of the season if all of our high profile management team would still be present in January but didnt think it would be this soon, could give our attendance a boost tomorrow though !!

Sounds like Barry is his own man with his own opinions and wasn't being allowed to manage his own way. Who the hell do this board think they are?

Get rid of the board rather than the managers and some success may just happen.

Unfortunately, as always, there is some information but not the full story (although that may be for a good reason) which is always going to lead to speculation. Over on the Ramsgate forum it is suggested that Ashby walked after being told to axe Smith.

Whatever, I thought that Ashby had done a good job with the players he had at his disposal and with patience things would have been ok. However, Yorath has surely got contacts and favours to pull. The jury is out until after tomorrow night at least!
