I have had a look through the photo's of Saturdays game, yes I can see there are lots of action shots as usual, a good mixture of close up and wide angle, and yes they are taken from various parts of the ground, ....but.

 

The ref is only in 3 of them, he was expecting to be in at least 50%, and his numerous poses with hand held high waving the referees talisman wasn't captured once. If we don't start giving ref's the same exposure as our players they'll not come anymore.

Sorry to disappoint TC (and Mr Referee). I did my best to cut him out of most shots, but he did manage to sneak into a few.

 

I try to make the slideshow tell the story of the game, and as he was quite a central character in Saturdays game I had no option but to include him in a few shots! You'll notice that where he does appear, he either has his whistle in his mouth or he is telling someone what to do, so an accurate portrayal of his performance on the day.

 

I'll try and do better to feature the main contributors to the game next time TC, although I'm hoping he'll be wearing blue or white rather than black!
