A good read BR and for the moement some non-league foottball is affordable but when you look at conference national it is beginning to look unaffordable for more and more people.

Warren i always read your posts and indeed have commended many ! I have finally found the time to read your blogs , very good reading they are too ! The we still hate Wycombe was nice to read ! I can never forget the days when they were our biggest rivals in a time when i never saw a single person from Slough ever wear a Wycombe shirt or go to their games , that turns my stomach and i have had many a cross word with folk i know who took the piece of silver and jumped on the Wycombe bandwagon just because they are a league club close by ! I can just about tolerate the Reading fans but Wycombe NO !! its just as wrong as it gets ! I will give you an example of how i feel about them , when my elder son was playing boys football he went to Slough football in the community sessions and learned loads from Mark Fiore , Tony Thompson , Delroy , Laurence Richardson etc. then with the demise of that by the time the younger one came along it was all Wycombe FITC in the area ! ok he went to the coaching sessions and is very promising , but when it came to going to the academy and the prospect of playing in a Wycombe shirt i am sorry but NO ! He plays for a rival league sides U 11 team right now but hey we dont have a team and they do let us share their ground ! Yes i know Terry Reardon & John Delaney wore that shirt but oh boy did that hurt ! and at least Terry had the good sense to come back quickly ! So there it is , Wycombe ? Just Say NO !

Now we come to the Plonker article and the only thing that troubles me about that one is that you think people maybe post stuff after a skinful that they wouldnt otherwise post , i myself have posted comments about the team performances as a whole and the style of management but i havent named any player personally , nor said that Derek should not be given a fair crack , what i did say was that he needed to kick ass and demand effort from all players pulling on the Slough shirt and Derek himself said exactly that in the local press himself ! I have been a Slough supporter for long enough to know what is an unacceptable Slough performance and when i see it i will say so but i assure you that my posts will be reasoned and factual and not clouded by alcohol ! chance would be a fine thing ! Happy to debate any of my points with you at a future game :- )

Cheers Bobbys Hatt - i can stick you on the email list so you receive every article i write if you want.

The Plonker article wasn't aimed at anyone in particular, just asking supporters to think a bit more when they post. I'm all for healthy debate, i just think sometimes we all get a bit carried away and don't do the club we support any favours.
