Laz, they sell the 'Old Rosie' in their Scrumpy range. May have to make a purchase or two!

 

Mind you, it's quite pricey. The bottle of 'Extra Strong Westons' which they sell in Safeway for £3.99 is almost £6 on their site.

 

Still, money's no object, eh!!

I paid £6 for a 2 litre "Extra String Old Rosie" at Bowmans at the weekend. Their 6x2 Litre pack works out slightly cheaper, and you get it delivered to your door.

 

 

The 20 litre box sounds just the ticket though at only £51.79.

Weston's Special Vintage Cider

 

Alc 7.3% Vol - Westons Vintage STILL strong cider is made from specially selected top quality cider apples grown in the orchards around Much Marcle - the produce from which has been famous for centuries. Old oak vats are used for fermenting and maturing the cider in the tradtional manner. This was what I bought, and was drinking last night - bootiful!!

I notice there are a few 4% ciders on the site. What is the point? Cider should be at least 6%.

 

I'm considering ordering the 20 litre tub. It says great for parties, but I reckon it will be just as good drinking it alone watching the TV.

I reckon 20 litres would last me about a week, so as long as there's no 'once opened, drink within 3 days' label on it, you'll be fine!!

 

Drinking at home alone is great!!

well it hasn't worked then because there is still locals in the pub(s) (depending on how many pubs out of the 4 we have that they have been banned from), and they are still in a lot of trouble!!!
