Transfer Listed People

Barry you might want to digest some facts, then again maybe you might not.

Make up for lost revenue? do you honestly believe Joe's wage could even scratch the surface of the revenue we would have received had we won that game.

Fines such as Joe's are at the Managers discretion and are sanctioned by the FA, I was not consulted re his fine, but, I fully support the decision to so, it was the right thing to do imo. The fine was his punishment for the straight Red. If Joe has requested a transfer because he was fined, then I would be very disappointed.

Putting players on a transfer list is a decision that is not taken lightly, it never is, Joe is both talented and a prolific goal scorer so putting his name on a list would have been discussed at length before it was done.

Trotty's two yellows and Joe's Red are incomparable imo.

Joe has gone nowhere yet, neither has Leon, Leon has showed real character since he was listed, he has great self pride and shows that in a positive way, last night Leon gave his all and I admire him for that.

As you are well aware Barrymono, footballers come and go, its the nature of the beast.

JB would seem to set the record straight on that point in this article:-

Having read your reply and 'digested' your comments, I am not saying players shouldn't be fined for getting sent off.But there should be a set level of fines on ALL players. Having done a bit of research and talking to other fans I came up with a few queries. When Ronnie Worcester got sent off for HEADBUTTING a player how comes he never got fined two weeks wages? And with rgard to two other players being shown red for two yellow cards, were they fined two weeks wages? NO they weren't. So where is the levelbeing set.And as for players taking a pay cut, I don't think anybody refused. But it is just the "one rule for one and one rule for others" that seems unfair. That is why i feel that the two players sent off at Concorde were singled out for the cup failures.

I don't think the two players sent of at concord we singled out at all! You cannot compare this to other players! Ronnie worster didnt headbutt their player! They both went head to head, but he never headbutted him!

There could be a punishment scheme in a way that, if u get a straight red, then ull get fined, or if you get a straight red and its a deserved red then ull get fined. You dont know what goes on behind the scenes.

Did flacky even get fined? This was probably said in another post, but i cant find it.

At the end of the day, whats done is done and if we dont like it, then fine, but theres no point argueing about it anymore. We need to concentrate on supporting the team and having a good season of football.

Forgive me if I'm wrong Barry but I didn't think we mentioned pay cuts, did we?

We never think fines are fair when we are on the receiving end Barry, and they tend to touch most people at one time or another, difference is most people take them on the chin and move on.

I think I can safely say that having two players sent off during the first half at concord was a contributory factor in us losing that game Barry, Would you not agree?
Is it a three match ban Joe received from the FA Barry?

Can I suggest that if you want to continue this conversation you do it by Private message, or even better, come and talk to me, because I reckon this subject is probably boring the pants of people now.
