Well to sum up lost 3-0 got nothing out of the referee and 3-0 flattered them. If the score ahd been a draw i would have said ok fair enough and if we had lost 1-0 then yeh ok they where a good team. But at 1-o down to have a perfectly good goal disallowed really is gutting. The game would have changed at the point to our favour. Also i have got to mention there keeper at the end. What a C0ck people like that really spoil football. The ball went over the top Jay ran onto it he slid in no where near the keeper, and he goes down like he has been shot. Then there number 9 squares upto Jay and pushes him, Jay does it back and get's booked. But there number 9 gets away with it. Then the keeper gets back up and carry's on. Sorry but all the keeper wanted to do was waste time and to me that is cheating. Maybe he really was injured in which case i am sorry for the above view but if he was not then to me he is a cheat.

I would also like to add that i thought some of the football play was very good and they did the simple things right. I can understand why they are top of the table. But i also felt there was alot fo luck in the performance. But best of luck to them in the future.

If that perfectly fine goal hadn't been disallowed by a Referee that got conned at a couple of key moments we could've been looking at a different result tonight

We 'scored' at the peak of our dominance in the game and by the goal being disallowed, (the Assistant on the near side gave the goal but was over-ruled by the Referee) it totally put us out of sync for the rest of the half.

I'm a bit dubious about their Goalkeeper issue, I'm not 100% sure he was trying to con anyone it just looked that way because of the timing of it. Yes Jay didn't touch him, but he was holding the elbow that he landed on so may have been genuinely hurt. The problem was Curran thinking he was cheating and then proceeding to have a go at the Dover players for suggesting otherwise.

I'm positive we must look at ourselves for the scoreline. All goals conceeded were sloppy if I'm honest by not marking up correctly or just poor clearances and half-hearted passing.

What really annoyed me is that our new boy is a naturally left-sided player, yet he's played on the right of central midfield?! Even when Corbell went off at half-time and we went 4-4-2, Ainsley was still playing in central midfield and Fanny was out wide. Where is the logic?

Also we need to prevent all this long ball [****!!****]. We put ourselves straight back into danger from doing it and 99% of the time never either win the first header and/or the second ball.

Very frustrating today, knowing that the goal should of stood and the one incident changed the course of the game. Onwards now though and lets give Tilbury a tonking Tuesday night!

I don't know what game you were watching, Lefty, but I thought we were totally outplayed for eighty minutes, with only ten minutes in the second half our own. (I think 3-1 would have been fair.)

Dover played some lovely football and passed the ball around us with great ease at times; it's very easy to see why they are top of the table.

It was a very good attendance yesterday, with plenty of Dover fans coming up for the game. The atmosphere was good and for anyone but us Canvey fans, I'm sure the game was largely enjoyable too.

Dover certainly deserved to win but the margin of victory was a bit harsh on us.

We battled quite well and had some good chances in the second half. The disallowed goal would certainly have changed the complexion of the game.

Saying that it would have been a real "smash and grab" raid if we had got anything out of the game.

It was a good professional performance from Dover. They passed the ball well and took their goals superbly.

Had to admit I was impressed with Stuart Ainsley. Worked hard and showed some decent touches.

Certainly Tarks deserved his man of the match award.

Dover were the better side and totally controlled the middle

of the park.To compete against the top teams we need to have

everyone fit/available to stand any chance.I thought tarkan

played really well along with the new boy ainsley who had a

solid debut. And ryan oliva did well although he looked far from

match fit.
