least it proves that sweetman's following of my advice is slowly paying dividens-said all along we needed some tall center backs-and so he goes and finds a couple-at least he listens to advice.

If Sweets HAD followed your advice Wiz we would have won the game because only one of the new signings was tall the other one was quite short.

Maybe next time he'll follow your advice to the letter lol.

rwg/wiz, now lets see, stop me if i'm wrong , but the general tone of your last posts concerning the new signings was that they were not really up to the job because they did not appear very much on the team sheets of the teams they were joining us from. now your saying that this was your idea all along and this was the tips you gave to sweets (a man you consider to be below your considerable skills ). hmmmm, i think there must be a conflict here , does your psychiatrist know about this problem you have, if he/she does not then i think you should really tell him/her about it before it develops into something more serious, remember 50% of the cure is admitting you have a problem.

I never said any of those points you quoted-i wish folk on here could understand what is written-or is it more likely they dont want to own up to learning anything.

I never mentioned that they were not up for the job-i just questioned their lack of games this year in the case of smith and the fact that allaway appeared to be on a downward spiral clubs wise.obviously allaway is at a potential big club now.

i never said i pesonally gave him tips-he just took my advice from off here i guess- otherwise he would have had all these players from the start surely.the two tall defenders i presume will be allaway and evans when he's fit.

so if your looking to have a go at my posts try and get your facts right first.

Heavy Trucker i havent heard that name since my old man passed away , it brought a grin to my face thinking about the many times he called me that ! So thanks for that ! :-) I am not endorsing wether or not it applies to RWG , just that i found it amusing ! you are either giving away your age a bit there or maybe you picked it up from an elder statesman ? For the record i think that both yourself and RWG have valid points to make but as we are all Rebels why waste time slagging each other ? try to go back to debating the points , we are all going to have differing opinions but if we start slagging each other the original point is lost ! Too many on here are quick to jump on somebody if they arent quoting from the company manual , if you know what i mean ! if there isnt a right to call it the way you see it then theres no point ! Question or challenge a point that you dont agree with but theres no need to rubbish it , If we can all get back to that then there will be no need for a registered users only forum and the genuine anons can carry on posting .
