IMO i think Dormer is more influentual in the heart of defence which we saw a couple of seasons back, i would prefer him there than centre midfield, but i feel we have more than enough options in the heart of defence at the moment.

I was well pleased with our performance on Saturday.

Coming back twice with ten men says a lot about the lads.

As JL mentioned easy goals for Ramsgate but hey they took the loose ball and it paid off.

Nice to have the Shoe Army EVENTUALLY get behind the lads in almost one voice towards the end.

Our new Keeper looked pretty secure having just come in to the club, Also Trott & Deane slipped into the team nicely.

Nice to see both the fans and the players applaud each other after the game, Well deserved from both sides i thought.

See ya Tuesday.

A much better all round performance. The ref has been well commented on and rightly slated for his part in the game, although I did find it ironic that when the two 'weebles' from the Ramsgate dugout gave him a right mouthful at the end he did nothing! The team is in a period of transition at the moment and its important that we keep the points tally ticking over until we can get some of the 'injured' players back.

Ramsgate are always a tough propostion (only have to look at the size of their players year in year out). I was also impressed with Tucker, who looked assured and composed dealing with crosses. Fergie imo just needs to work on his final ball in as his build up play is superb, but imo, more often than not his final delivery was off colour. The performance of the whole team was more encouraging and that is to be applauded, but i have to admit it worries a little that up until we scored our first goal their keeper had virtually been a spectator, and being the home side one would hope to see a little more stetchment of the opposition goalkeeping department smile Not really sure why Trott got sent off as it looked inocuous to me.

When we look at the table it is a tight league, and we are but a mere 6 or 7 points off play off spots but we must also not get complacent by keep thinking that. Those 6 or 7 points can easily turn into 10 or 12... Points need to plussed up a tad and perhaps "if" we strung back to back wins we may just get going. I hope Wareham pulling up is not serious by the way.

He is strong, good in the air, pretty quick and has shown a first-class attitude. In my view he is a better option than Clarey or Heffer (Or Dormer - lol) in that position.

I DONT AGREE WITH THAT 1 BIT I NO FOOTBALL IS ABOUT OPINIONS AND EVERYONE HAS DIFFERENT VIEWS.

BUT FOR ME ID PICK CLAREY,HEFFER OR COLE OVER DUNCUN WITHOUT FAIL.

HE BALL WATCHES ALL THE TIME HE ISNT STRONG, HE IS GOOD IN THE AIR. THE FACT IS THAT HE CAME IN AT THE RIHT TIME AS INJURIES HAPPEN AND HE HAS PLAYED ALONGSIDE EXPERIENCED PLAYERS SINCE WHICH THEY HAVE MADE HIM LOOK BETTER THAN WHAT HE IS DUE TO ALWAYS COVERING HIM. HE GETS TURNED TO EASY.

THE LAST GAME CLAREY PLAYED WHEN HE GOT INJURED HE GOT A STANDING OVATION AND I THINK SINCE HE HAS BEEN INJURED WE HAVE MISSED THAT BITE AND DETERMINATION. HE HAS PLAYED 9GAMESN WON 5(2 FRIENDLYS) DRAWN 2 LOST 1 SCORED 1 THATS NOT A BAD RECORD ISIT?

BARING IN MIND HE HAS NOT PLAYED ALONGSIDE A CENTRE HALF YET, HE PLAYED 5MINS WITH COLE AND HE GOT INJURED THEN WITH MACCA.

IF HE PLAYED ALONGSIDE COLE HEFFER OR TROTT YOU WILL HAVE A DIFERRENTR OPINION.

LIKE I SAID MAYBE I SEE THIS MORE DUE TO BEING A DEFENDER IN MY EARLER YEARS.

Like Steve 08 says, people have differing opinions and i am no different in that department, and i respect what Steve says whether i agree or not.

What i will say (imo) for Big Dunc is that he really looks like he wants to play for this club. Call me a stupid fan grin but i love the way he shouts out "cmon Billericay" and appreciates the fans. I am a one for players who show a real desire, and that imo rubs off on the fans who see someone as a real tryer, and a player who genuinely looks like they want to be out there on the pitch for "their" team. Ok, that does not mean that we will win every game, but from a "fans" perspective it shows those type of players care.

i agree we do have alot in defence. I dont disagree 1 bit that duncun wants to play for the club and appreciate the fans, but i still dont think he is good enough for this league which he will soon get sussed out as he cant keep getting coverered.

Maybe fans choose not to see it because he wants to play for the club and he does pay attention to the fans.

Shouting come on ricay doesnt make you a player or a captain as there is no other talking on the pitch.

We all have opinions and not everyone is going to agree with me so bring on saturday and lets get 3points.
