Rumour or Fact

Is that fact or speculation ?

Having said that, i read he has been released by Ramsgate.

I also think that from the little i know May is the better all round striker; so i can understand why Ward has released MT.

As Margate already have similar to May in Power ; and Takoloo does seem to score goals; maybe it would make sense and would work well for MT to sign for MFC.

If that were to transpire-i'm not sure if you would play Pratt and MT,or Power and MT.

Would be good to have 3 strikers to 'rotate' though

Probably pure speculation though.

Pratt ahead of Power anyday for me. We have already seen Kenny cause lots of problems for defenders this year and, with a bit more confidence and know-how of this level, I'm sure he'll start banging them in soon. You also know you're going to get 100% commitment from Kenny every game. Can we say the same about Power?

Well I've never seen a 'striker' (I use the term loosely) so reluctant to get into the box as Power. When the likes of Pratt, Stubbs, Wilson etc get to the byline and look up, Power is nowhere to be seen.

I like to see a striker harassing opposition, forcing them into errors (Pratt at Dartford, led to the goal), but Power just strolls around the pitch, almost just expecting the ball to come to him, rather than actively seeking it.

Personally I never questioned Hockton's commitment (although I know some did) but when your striker bags as many goals as he did, it doesn't really matter if he's absent for 88 minutes of the game; those two minutes normally result in a goal. I think if we had had Hockton in our team, he would already have bagged 8 or 9 goals at least this season, considering the number of chances we have created.

Have to say that the rumours were rife at Hartsdown today that Mo was on his way back to us. You have to say that today's display in front of goal was not good enough to be inept. Mo may be slow and a bit lazy too, but he does know where the back of the net is (scored 6 in competetive games & 6 in pre-season much better than anyone we have in the squad).

Come now Mr S. you surely can't be that naive! Anyone knows that a hero for your Local Rivals is a total waste of space until he transfers to you, when he becomes someone you've always (secretly) admired and suddenly inherits heroic status.

However, a hero who transfers away from you is now past it, has developed into a dirty b'stard and a waste of space.

Anyway, as TonyM said "he's NOT the Messiah - he's a very naughty boy" (where have I heard that before?)
