Witham Town manager quits

I know Witham Town are not an ESL club.... Yet. But I see Tony Last has quit.

Credit to the fella,he joined Witham Town as an U'16s EJA manager exactly 10 years ago and worked his way up through the club ranks.The RYMAN 1 NORTH has some good teams in the top half but the 3-4 at the bottom are none better than any ESL top half team.Anyway I bet they have already someone lined up.

No JP,I'm talking about the time when Tony Last was the U'16s EJA Witham Town manager back in 1998.That was when he joined that club.

Just sounds like an excuse to me.....poor results is the reason IMHO

 

Barkingside could bareley field substitutes for matches latley, sometimes you just have to knuckle down, work for each other and get on with it

IMHO - Withams squad is not good enough for Ryman level, and unless they make dramatic changes, they will be playing ESL next year.

 

Lasty is not a manager, but as a chairman he works hard and wants the club to do well in general.

Will be a shame if he is stepping aside as Chairman as well, as he had put in a lot of effort in, and it was a brave attempt as a manager.

 

IMTHO () he has moved aside at the right time, and maybe they will appoint a manager who can bring in players / staff that will keep them in the division.
