After a seven day notice to talk to the above player

Billericay Town then decided to do it some 12 days later in our fecking clubhouse in full view of all !! (probally couldnt get his number as they thought his name was Conway ?)

 

 

Sensibly Nick has decided to stay with us !

???...or maybe we thought it right that we didn't jeopardize your preparations prior to our cup tie, confirmed this with your Manager, and agreed that we would wait a few more days until after the game.

 

But hey, 7 days, 12 days, in the end he decided to stay with you anyway, which is fine with us, and probably our loss. Nick is both a talented, and loyal player.

Just to set the record straight but with facts. BTFC approached

CRFC with a seven day notice for Nicky COWLEY not conway Because of the relationship with your managers the BTFC managers text your manager to say they didnt think it was fair to approach him prior to the cup match and your manager responded with a thanks text in return a copy of which can be forwarded.

It was agreed they wouldnt talk to him till after the match and this was agreed. The player was offered a deal not twice the sum as has been posted in the newspaper but after a meeting with CRFC Chairman it appears he had a change of heart. This is his perogative and Im sure BTFC wish him well and respect his decision. Having approached the player in accordance with FA rules and conducted themselves with dignity in the light of the match defeat it was disappointing to read your inacurate log

perhaps it would have been advisable to have consulted your managers before writing such insulting garbage

Seeing as i know what he recieves in expenses the deal he was offered with bonuses from yourselves was definitely double !

 

The main point of my 1st post was the fact you chose our club house in full view of everyone to sit and talk to the player !

 

Something he found "very embarrasing" his words !

 

Also your seven day notice was to a Nicky Conway !
