Incidentally, presumably as a part time football scout you tend to be busy on Saturdays (I'm lead to believe that is when football is most commonly played in the pyramid) - so how do you manage to "support" Slough Town? Or is just a state of mind for you based on the glory days of the 50s, 60s and 70s?

I would be interested to know Wiz as a part time scout which defenders you would bring in that are available and are also on our budget. Being a scout surely you would have some names to throw into the hat

Also if he was a supporter and a scout he would know that they wouldnt be able to sign on until training so we would find out the next day, and we dont train on a sunday

You really do have a lack of football knowledge, why would anybody not be able to sign till training night-have you never heard of taking the forms to the player or meeting halfway-depends how keen you were to sign them.
Even Man Utd have signed players in motorway cafe's.

As for the other above posts-I think I have helped sweetman out enough already-its not for me to poach players-if he's any good (which results proves he isn't)then he should find his own, but please no more duds.

And for roger the mighty rebel lol ! i don't care if you answer my posts or not-cos up till know you ain't said anything constructive-so join staines rebel etc in obscurity you won't be missed.

The CLUE is in the words PART TIME SCOUT, i do all midweek games, there are stacks of midweek games both pro and semi pro-which u'd know if you knew anything ! GET IT NOW_DO YA ?

I wish people would stop being rude to RWG as he has some valid points, and obviously has a good knowledge of Slough from the old

days. Maybe we should see him as a help, not a hinderance.

if I thought he knew anything then yes but his postings on here proves he knows didly squat.

What proves he isn't a Slough supporter is his contempt and reluctance to help the club. Don't forget when he first posted he didn't declare himself Slough town.

He certainly knows about the 60s and 70s teams, i remember a lot of the players of that era and he has got their names and positions spot on!

Richie, I'm afraid postings like yours are not very well thought out and give people like RWG plenty of ammunition to shoot you down in flames.

How would RWG or anyone else except the management know what our budget is?
