Ash Utd beat Hartley W 4-0 in the A'shot Senior Cup. Scored four had the ball in the net another three times + the hartley keeper made several good saves so easily could have won by a bigger margin. A much better performance than in recent weeks

I see this was one o' they SCC (Seriously Cant Care?) tongue Cup matches for a Trophy no-one seems to want nor play for - did the Chips and Ashford ever play the final held over from last season - was due sometime this August.

Getting any info on its results/fixtures is like trying to find a Pork Chop in Golders Green. whistle

 

The reason I ask is, according to Alan C's Bulletin this w/e, Little Drummer Boy's lot were supposed to be at Chertsey last night in a First Round match? Now - bearing in mind I don't think they (Town) have a functioning reserve side and they were busy getting dumped out of the Hellenic Floodlit @ Highworth last night smirk - does anyone know if this game WAS scheduled/(played?) last night and if not when it might be played?

 

PLUS - some help please ... I tried looking on the Chertsey website but the url I have for them is defunct/'parked' - someone not paid a bill?:-

true, it was not a good day at the office for the officials, although it was encouraging to see the 'buzzy' flags being used so that we dont get 11 players and coaching staff shouting at the ref to look at his lino!
