Bilbo - Yes I asked a similar question about Gavin recently, I hope he's okay.

NeutralFan - I've absolutely no idea what you mean but the main thing is he seems to be alive and well.

Bilbo - I know Gavin has one or two health issues and when he stops taking the tablets that has some sort of effect on his behaviour however you and your cohorts at Edgware Town should have shown him far more support than you did rather than unceremoniously banishing him from the Club, obviously that's going to do him more harm than good and it wasn't the answer.

Mrs Keeps - The door is always open for Gavin, he knows he only needs to walk through it.

Hoy, Bilbo, shouldnt you get your own house on order before taking the pi*s out of others???

The Ryman League has been left with no alternative but to postpone tomorrow's Division One North fixture between Leyton and Redbridge because of the actions of the landlords of the Hare and Hounds ground.

Leyton FC accept they were late with the September quarter's rent, as a result of which bailiffs locked out the Club from their ground this week.

The Club delivered to their own solicitors sufficient funds to cover the arrears, interest and bailiff's fees, however the landlords have refused to accept the money, thereby forcing the Club to issue an application to their County Court.

The Club is unable to play on another ground due to the fact that all their kit and equipment is locked in the ground.

The League hopes that this will be resolved very soon and the Club allowed back into their ground.

Just who do you think I'm taking the pi*s out of?

Anyway as a supporter of the club, with no official capacity, can you explain why you think the clubs financial affairs are anything to do with me?

Incidentally I posted the statement on the Ryman Forum (It's rightful place as Leyton are a Ryman League club)some time ago, so it's old news now.

Yes a full hour and a half ago at 2.23pm, I don't call that 'some time ago' and 'old news'.

I have broad shoulders.

I have only ever taken issue on this forum with Numpty for posting blatant lies about Edgware Town and Rohdent for believing him and spouting garbage about things that he has no knowledge of.

As far as Leyton is concerened, as I said above I'm just an interested spectator, however, if I can help along the way, whats the crime? There are far too few Non League fans who are willing to turn a hand to help small clubs instead of just posting opinions of what should be done.

you havent only taken issue with gavin about edgware though, you carried your grudge against him through to the KLT blog and started this very thread with a dig at him.

And I dont believe youre just an interested spectator Bilbo.

however thats tittle tattle, how serious is Leytons problem, who is their landlord and why wasnt the rent paid on time?

It wasnt a simple oversight if baillifs were involved, theres a lot more happening before things get to that stage.

Taken from Leyton FC History page......."However, in season 1999-2000 the club returned to senior amateur football when they were admitted into The Schweppes Essex Senior League and also signed a new ten-year lease on the ground."Could this current situation be the owners, of the ground, preparing for the end of the lease which is in 2 years. Leytons ground looks like a prime spot for another block of flats!!!! I hope not, but the Dog Track has gone, so what could be next?

Unlike others I will not speculate on the situation other than to say I hope it is resolved soon.
