DFC on the move?

Recommended Posts

I think all parties agreed mistakes have been made ddave.

getting the lease signed didnt wave a magic wand over the place.

ive been able to have full and frank chats with "our mates", they could have told me where to go and i couldnt have blamed them. But they've been big enough to acknowledge errors and they do need help. Not all my thoughts or opinions have changed but my attitude certainly has.

come to a game , have a beer and a chat, and see how everyone gets on?

A bit late to inform you all I 'spose, but the club that doesn't exist according to Thompson's and Yellow Pages WILL have the club and bar open tonight for a friendly/training match this evening, (Tuesday 21/10/08).

Probably just you TRS !

DFC played a friendly/trial/training game against AFC Thornton which we won 6-2, (I think - I kept getting side tracked !)

A fast and furious game against a very young up and coming side.

The referee was a youngster, probably starting out on a career in black, and to be fair had a very good game.

Bl00dy cold though, but the bar was warm and the beer as usual, was just fine !

Somewhere around that area, Trevor. I think they said they played at Roundshaw.

Well - Someone's got to, I suppose !
