Martin should go without a doubt! He is the most lazyest play I have ever watched! I could play better than him and I guess pretty much anyone on this board could. He never goes up for headers, doesnt like running. For a young lad he should be running like a headless chicken! I would keep De Souza. I would also give Jon Challinors brother a trial. He is pretty good and skill full.

Martin should go?? I suppose he did only score 22 goals this season.

You would keep De Souza? I suppose you know what it's like.

Is your PE teacher involved in any way, shape or form in the running of SACFC, MAD? It's just that '200-300 quid a game' is a bit general.

Good to have you back.

200-300 quid a game is a fair amount of money for just running round for 90 mins or so

So JC doesn't train, only turns up at 3.00pm or 7.30/7.45pm on corresponding match days, and so as a result only gets paid for the games he plays?

In non-league football, saying that a player gets '200-300 quid a game' is like saying that players in the Premiership get '10,000-50,000 quid a game.'

Besides, Martin didn't start well but fade away. IMO, he started OK and got better (albeit not hugely). If you don't go to games, MAD, you can't easily comment.

Simon is a good player and it should be remembered that he suffered a "mystery" muscle injury during the season which stopped all training and obviously held him back.

Despite this setback he is the leading scorer again and it has to be said that you cannot see any one of the current crop of strikers even challenging that position next year.

Sorry to interupt this Mutual Admiration Society.

I suspect that Simon would describe his performance this last season as 'lacklustre' notwithstanding his 22 goals. You're right Caretaker. He suffered this injury, famously described by the physio at the Fans Forum as "In layman's terms, a muscle wasting disease" [so what is it in technical terms Adie?].

It will be good to see him fit next year after a Summer of heading practice. Lesson No. 1, Simon. Keep your eyes open when attempting to head the ball. No. 2 Jump.

Who taught that boy his trade?
