GHA. I agree with the fact that if there is no commitment then the players shouldnt really be here but you know what its like!

Me 'knowing what it's like' doesn't really mean that if players aren't giving 100% for the blue and yellow crest they should still be able to wear the shirt. The youth, the ressies, many footballers in St. Albans (including Zeal, Voice, and myself) would give more than 100% if we were asked to wear the famous yellow and blue. I believe the phrase is many players would 'bite your hand off' to play for the Saints. If the players actually playing for the Saints aren't giving it their all, they shouldn't be playing.

That's the worst argument I have ever heard for playing players that can't be arsed to give their all.

Ok RTS, well, like i said before i think we have a good team at the moment. granted they were disapointing at the end of the season, but they are still good though.

I sort of agree with GHA's selection, I assume that no mention of Evans means he is promoted to reserve team skipper and that Hyatt/Castle are non-playing coaches?

 

I wouldn't go for Parker but I would go for his Hitchin counterpart, Dean Brennan. I wonder if he is available?

I agree with everything that GHA and Zeal have said. If the players do not want to give 110% everytime they go out there then they can play for someone else.

 

Maybe it was the way I prahsed it!! Hope this clears up what I menat to say!
