Save Slough a new Slough

okay lets be honest the new ground aint ever going to happen, Slough Town FC is little more than a sunday league side at the moment. i would welcome a meeting with me and the comitee to turn things round . i have said this now 3 times if nobody from the club wants to contact me about raising the money to get slough back to at least pyramid level,

I may be wrong but I don't think you have once ever requested a meeting with the commitee on this forum. Besides how do you know the new ground won't happen?

 

Whats wrong with speaking to someone at a home game too rather than venting your issue on an unofficial forum?

the council will never let slough have a new ground , speaking to someone at a home game , i honestly have no idea who anyone is .where have i said i have asked for meeting with the commitee on this or anywhere .

i would love someone to get in touch with me please . im not proud im not looking to be the big i am , i like many people cant believe hoe far slough have sunk. this isnt a rant at any manager this is a contact me cause ive had enough and i want slough back where they was in the 70w

if some one from the club wants to get in touch with me through this site it would be great , i have tried to contact the club on numerous occasions in the past the latest when the club played at windsor when i worked at the local chemical factory in wexham road ( i left 4 voicemail messages and 1 postal letter )

Stupalace pissed off as soon as we left the conference, was a waster then as well! Shows a lack of respect and knowledge. We are still in the pyramid, just tad lower down, and two new levels added since connie days anyway! Does not know when or how much for games, complete jerk. At least Wiz RWG and the like are trying to be constructive, even if I do not like their style.

in terms of websites in this league, if you were looking for the best Sloughs would be right up there. as said the match updates for away games is a superb feature and its always updated. thanks to everyone who works on the site.

I dont usually get involved in these sort of posts but I feel I have to say something.

 

Steve Easterbrook is one of the best things that has happened to STFC in a long time for the first time in ages we actually have a bit of hope. Steve and the management committee are working extremely hard trying to promote the club and ALSO in trying to get a football club back in Slough !!!

 

Oh and also Chris I agree there is nothing wrong with our website ! (apart from some of the posts)

Agree with Sue (well there's always a first time). I personally think you're bang out of order Stupalace. A year ago your post would have had some valid points, but off the field the club has made massive strides to become a much more professional outfit.

When i advised you the other week to speak to someone at a game, you said you would be at Palace - even tho' they weren't playing, so its hard to take your offer of help too serious. If it is serious, then turn up at a game and head for the supporters hut.

Are you sure you mean SLOUGH TOWN F.C.?.

Slough Town has never been a BIG club, although granted they have been far higher & more successful in the non-league game than they currently are.

Just to clarify, teams in the East Berks league are in the PYRAMID system, as are teams in the Premiership.

Just how far do you want to take the club?
