Once again you jump the gun, (being so quick you would) I didnt say by 7-15 the changing rooms were empty. I said the referee rooms were, please read things properly. And BTW I'm not a groundsman, I'm just another person who dedicates a lot of time and energy into giving other people a game of football for no reward, no thanks and no understanding when things occasionally go wrong.

Funny that ain't it........

Obviously I wasn't there so can't comment on the evenings events as far as what did and what didn't happen. I know Abbynut who I've met on more than a few occasions and a slippery feker I feel is a poor description of him. He has always struck me has a pretty decent guy!(Although he does support wabbey)

That said the Monday in question seems to have been a mighty big [****!!****] up!!

Here here light , thought AN was a really decent bloke when i met him . There seems to have just been a misunderstanding when it comes to that night in question . Just a suggestion but maybe someone from Eton Manor should have been down there checking the pitch early doors , after all it was their home game ??

Big Mac, Abbeynut is a forum legend and is definitely not a liar. There may be some confusion over the times etc but he is a decent fellow and I believe he would have done what he could to get the game played. I have reread my original post and I may have been a bit harsh, for which I apologise, but I appreciate Abbeynut's reply.

Besides, any friend of Coup's is ok with me!! grin

Mate I wasn't there, so obviously I cant comment on who was where and at what time, but isn't it possible that he was wrong/mistaken as opposed to lying?

It all seems confused, for example, you said in your previous post ...

Quote:
abbeynut u lier, the whole basildon squad was in there kit ready 2 warm up in the changing room and just about to go on the pitch when it got called off

Now you are saying...

Quote:
i said he is a liar because the whole teams was on the pitch ready to warm up

Either you were in the changing room about to go on the pitch, or you were already on the pitch.

It's all irrelevant now anyway and what's done is done. A pain in the @rse for sure and I sympathise.

oh dear, Ive been called a few things but liar I am not. If everyone actually read what was said instead of slagging and summising you might get your knickers out of the twist.

When I got back NO ONE was on the pitch, the lights were off, did I not say that?

I didnt say you all shot off straight away and didnt want to play, I said I WAS TOLD that.

Thanks Hookey, One Breast (Legend) and Lightweight.

Richard, theres a vacancy if you want it, for a brain cell in your head to match your IQ

Kaiser, how would I know, Im gonna call it off when you all get there.....you of all people, oh well full of all sorts I guess.

My last comments as the planet sense can't get through anymore.

Abbeynut - I've been following this thread with interest, I think what is key to the whole thing is where you disappeared to and why as clearly that was the precise moment everything kicked off and your presence may well have been instrumental in resolving the problem and getting the game played. You mentioned that you 'were only around the corner' however when push came to shove you left your post and that's a Court Martial offence in the Army.
