First home league game of the season and Margate maintained their 100% start to the season with a 3-1 win over Ashford.

Danny Haines ans Sam crompton 2 with the goals. Pick of the goals was freekick from Sam Crompton from 25 yards curled into the top right corner to put the game to bed. Thats 12 points out of 12. Long may this run continue

Well done.

 

Seems especially good this season as have'nt a number of last years players gone to the reserves;so to start again with a new team and get good results seems to me to be particularly impressive by the players/management/coaches and probably parents.

 

Could it just be that MFC are starting to get a positive reputation for looking after and developing youth
