No more excuses-the only person really missing was Evans, who isnt a superman.Defensively we are shocking and now must be the time to get some decent players in, you cannot keep blindly saying lets hope it gets better-it wont as it stands.

The defender sweetman is meant to be getting sunday had better be the S.A.S.

At least Truro will have a long journey and tough game on tuesday night as Chesham held them to a 3-3 draw in Cornwall yesterday. Hope it goes to extra time - it may tire them out for next saturday!!

 

I am sure that the management team are looking for new defenders to 'assist' our current ones. Hopefully it will only be a matter of time.

I read that the defender was making a decision today, has that all change again?Smoke and mirrors will only hide the truth( that we need a few quality defenders) for so long.

Yes, he makes the DECISION today, or do you expect Gary to drop everthing he's doing drive to the players house and sign the Southern league forms and then post the news online immediately.

If a player signs it will be on Tuesday or Thursday (training nights) no doubt.

After watching Saturdays game here are my observations for what they are worth:

Again, strong going forward and the three up front were easily the three best players. Woeful at the back, and if we dont sort it out before Saturday it will be a cricket score. As for the Thatcham winner, why oh why when is was 4-4 did we not play keep ball or at least waste time/kick the ball into the trees just to run the clock down? Any manager will tell you that with 1 minute to play, you just wind the clock down - RWG am i correct?
