How Banstead v Cambo finished 0-0 is a mystery. Great game of football that should have been at least 5-5. Banstead missed a pen, hit bar twice, one a 40 yard half volley that was a tremendous strike. Camberley missed at least 4 one on ones and had 3 cleared off line.

Still unbeaten but the numerous drawn games could cost us especially the ones we should have won but for poor finishing or decision making.

However, BG can't afford slip-ups like this if they want to challenge the big boys this season.

Epsom and Colliers Wood are the teams to beat right now, hopefully we can put in a far more professional performance on Wednesday night at Wibbandune.

We are all looking forward to Wednesday.
We have had some good games against The Green in the past few years and I expect Wednesday to be our toughest test of the season so far.
This will be a good marker as to how much we have come on as we start a run of five really tough matches against Green, North Greenford, Horley, Chessington and Chertsey.
After these games we hope to still be in touch somewhere near the top.
Good to see Horley off the mark yesterday too!

I was talking to the Banstead penalty misser over a glass of amber last night.

Even he said he couldn't believe the 0-0 score line.

Think you might get away with draws this season PB, dont think they will be a runaway winner as in previous seasons

Cheers for the ammo PB - I'm gonna let him have a bit of stick for that although I guess he was right, not many would save a pen that flies wide!! doh

EM you are kidding right, you are the dirtiest team that we have played so far, yes we did end up with 9 men but as butler said 1 was for retaliation when he gave your player a piggy back for 10 seconds and the ref still didnt give us a free kick,. you only started playing when wee went down to 9.

How is it when ever we get a result its always the oppositions worst performance

Well done Rattled great start to the season for you and your team,Epsom have found that magical ingredient of consistency its this that can win games and leagues, its funny how even if you play badly you can still pick up a win and consistantly take the points,I think in this league PB is right too many dropped points can be fatal, so for now its up to the other teams to try and put a run together and try and stay in touch with the leading pack, its going to be a close run thing this season good luck to everybody

Funny how you keep going on about us fouling you, but only complained about one incident when our player "exagerated" an injury! No incidents of fouling.

We probably were the worst team you've played this season because like I said we were poor all game, especially when you had 2 red cards.

Which centre half were you talking about being bad?

Besides you talk about the time we had to get more goals, but we were hindered by time wasting from the 15th minute! I've never seen anything like it. If only referees would give an early yellow card for this sort of thing there might actually be football played at these matches

Thank you SL... I'm reasonably new here, what team was this?

Interesting note is that I don't see to many cards being given out in this league. Yesterday was the first red card I've seen

Either the referees are being told not to dish cards out or something because the Ryman league had a lot more cards

Ash Utd & Wembley battled a draw with neither side really looking dangerous.

Not much else to say about the game but everyone at ASH UNITED would like to send their thoughts to PAUL SHELTON & his family after the tragic death of his young son
